Polka dots make me happy and are a timeless classic that has been popular through the decades. The subtle pink dots made me think of the feminine silhouettes of the 1930’s and inspired the fitted Lady Bettie dress.  I have used fine silk as a trimming and the dress is fully lined.  The dress is fitted using princess seams on the front and back creating a long and slimming look.  The sleeves are pleated and the invisible zip is at the back.  I have used blended wool because the fabric maintains its shape without stretching or shrinking.   This dress best suits women who wear the same size on top and bottom and have a clearly defined waist and bust. 
 
Each garment is designed and made by me using traditional sewing techniques.
